WATERGATE PARK PITCHES
WATERGATE - HOME AND AWAY TEAMS - MANAGER'S AND ALL VISTORS INFORMATION
1. Entrance and exit is via the access gate beside Watergate Cafe then onto the pitches. All other gates will be locked.
2. DO NOT park in front of the gated entrance to the dirt track leading up to the pitches from the small car park - access is required in case of an emergency. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE.
3. As a club, we will not tolerate abuse or physical threats to our referees/managers/coaches/parents/carers/players EVER. You will be asked to leave the pitches and if serious enough, BANNED by the Executive Committee from all future games and reported to Durham FA.
4. NO DOGS (except guide dogs) are allowed at the Watergate venue.
5. No warming up on any of the 4 pitches. Warms up must only occur in the designated warm up areas. We have attached a layout of the pitches.
6. All Watergate homes games referee fees will be paid directly to the referees after the match. No cash to be handed to Referees.
7. Watergate café will be serving refreshments.
8. Club house toilets will be open (bottom of the club house through the BLUE double doors, at the entrance to the pitches). This is also where the Defibrillator is located. Unless using the cafe, please DO NOT USE THEIR TOILETS.
9. Please view the RESPECT signs to see where parents/carers and coaches need to stand for each pitch.
10 RESPECT the referees.
11. Put litter in the bins that are pitch side or at the cafe.
12. No smoking on site please.

WHAT 3 WORDS LOCATION IS SLICES.SAKE.GUARDS - this is to the centre circle on pitch 2.
On Google Maps the Clubhouse and Pitches are located to the left side of Emmanuel College. From the Lobley Hill Roundabout over the A1(M) Western Bypass, take the A692 up Lobley Hill Bank. If you continue on the A692 Consett Road, keep in the left-hand lane you will reach the summit of the hill and then see Emmanuel College on your right.
NE11 9RQ POSTCODE - A SMALL CAR PARK is located just after the College, before the new housing estate, on the right. Park your vehicle, go up the track on the right corner of this Small Car Park, the Pitches and Clubhouse are located at the top this track on the left.
NE11 0BG POSTCODE - The LARGE CAR PARK is accessed by taking the same A692 Lobley Hill Bank road, but stay in the right-hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights onto the B6317 Whickham Road. Travel for about 250-300 yards and take the entrance on the left into Watergate Park (opposite Woodburn Gardens on the right). Park your vehicle in the far corner and walk down the paths towards the Clubhouse and Pitches. The pitches are behind the long row of very large trees
